Less than a month out of office, former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter has landed his third part-time gig as a TV commentator.
CNN’s Brian Stelter made the announcement on Twitter Monday, and the Philadelphia Business Journal caught it right away.
CNN has 3 new commentators as of this morning: Daily Caller contrib @mattklewis, former Philly mayor @Michael_Nutter, talk show host @BPShow

Attempts to reach Nutter were unsuccessful. So far, CNN’s pressroom has yet to release an official statement.
Just last week, Nutter landed a position at Columbia University where he begins teaching at the School of International and Public Affairs this semester.
And a week before that, news broke that Nutter, a two-term mayor and 15-year city councilman, had scored (an unpaid) advisory position with the Department of Homeland Security — a move that was greeted with heavy speculation back in Philadelphia.
Since his departure from City Hall, Nutter also became an advocate on the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton, whom he has supported for over a decade.
These part-time, highly visible positions add up to some steady work. Back in Nov., 2015, Nutter half-jokingly said that his post-mayoral plans were to make some serious money "for the first time ever."
"It would be a new experience for me," he told the Inquirer.
As mayor, Nutter was paid $177,679 a year.
