In light of the increased pickups of undocumented immigrants, Juntos will hold information sessions to inform local undocumented persons of their rights in the event of a raid.

The first session will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Juntos’ office in South Philadelphia at the corner of 6th and Tasker Streets. There will be another session in Norristown on Thursday, Jan. 7, at the public library on 1001 Powell St.

There have been several unconfirmed reports of raids in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties in the last several days. Writes Erika Almiron, the executive director of Juntos:

"We are looking to inform people on their rights, what to do if ICE shows up at your house or place of business and also get stories of potential raids to confirm if Philly was hit."
