Federal Judge blocks Trump's executive order against sanctuary cities
Santa Clara County and the city of San Francisco have sued the government for being unconstitutional.
A San Francisco (California) judge today blocked the executive order signed by Donald Trump that sought to deny federal funds to sanctuary cities (those who exercise the constitutional right not to collaborate with federal authorities in deporting immigrants).
Before the demand of the county and the city, the judge sentenced in favor blocking the presidential decree. This maneuver is not final and the Department of Justice will appeal to an appeals court, which is immediately below the Supreme Court.
