Economy and immigration, most important issues for Latino voters

The economy and immigration are the most important issues that politicians should address in the 2016 elections, according to a poll conducted among Latino voters, released Friday by NCLR and Latino Decisions.

The economy and immigration are the most important issues that politicians should address in the 2016 elections, according to a poll conducted among Latino voters, released Friday by NCLR and Latino Decisions.

Thirty-nine percent of participants said the creation of jobs and the economy are the most important issues while the same percentage said the the same about immigration reform, Obama’s executive actions DACA and DAPA, and deportations. 

Additionally, 28 percent of participants said the most important factor for deciding who to vote for is that the candidate is a democrat.
