The latest findings on the preliminary private autopsy of Michael Brown, the unarmed teen shot to death by police on Aug. 9 in Ferguson, MO, indicated that he was shot at least six times.

According to the autopsy, the African-American teen was shot twice in the head and four times in the arm.

ABC News reported Attorney General Eric Holder ordered a federal medical examiner to perform a separate autopsy.

In addition to the autopsy results, Amnesty International is calling for an investigation of Ferguson’s police to ensure they meet key standards.
The human rights organization sent a 12-person delegation, for the first time ever in the United States, to monitor police activity and concluded that the policing standards must be scrutinized. Eye-witnesses report seeing police, with no visible ID badges, hurling tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters and threatening members of the press in another night of demonstrations.

“Amnesty International has a long and tested history of monitoring and investigating police conduct, not just in foreign countries, but right here at home in the United States,” executive director Steven W. Hawkins said in a statement on Sunday. “Our delegation traveled to Missouri to let the authorities in Ferguson know that the world is watching. We want a thorough investigation into Michael Brown’s death and the series of events that followed.”
