On the anniversary of Richard Nixon's birth, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie stood up before the press to deny his involvement in what the internet has so fondly named, "bridgegate."
Instead of a paranoid mastermind behind bugging the Democratic National Committee, Christie has been so far discovered responsible for hiring a woman with incredibly bad judgement who caused a traffic jam to inconvenience a Democratic mayor. Instead of, "I am not a crook," Christie has announced, "I am not a bully."
"I'm sick over this," Christie told press today.
Yet to his discontent, the press continued to press him on his knowledge of questionable emails linked to his now former Deputy Chief of Staff, Bridget Kelly.
Meanwhile, New Jersey is getting a bad reputation in terms of corrupt politicians today with the "bridgegate" scandal and the trial of Trenton Mayor Tony Mack who is accused of accepting bribes to build a parking garage.
