The inaugural Pennsylvania Bacon Festival is making its debut at the Piazza at Schmidt's on May 10. 

The festival will feature more than 30 restaurants and food trucks cooking full size bacon dishes, bacon confectionary delights, bacon-eating contests and cooking demonstrations. 

The event will also include live music from several bands and a bacon-themed children's zone to celebrate the delectable meat product. 

For those who love wine and spirits, the event has you covered with bacon-inspired cocktails.
