Apple launches tech support account on Twitter
Early Thursday morning, Apple Support finally joined Twitter.
Thanks to Apple, Twitter may have just became a little more interesting. Early Thursday, the company unveiled its new Apple Support account. In its bio the account offers only “tips and tutorials,” according to an article on Mashable within minutes of launching Apple Support was already shifting through dozens of tech support questions from Apple customers.
The account only has four tweets so far but would reply by recommending the customer to contact them by direct messaging. Apple Support followers has doubled since it launched and now has over 123 million followers, according to Mashable it had over 14,000 followers in the first few hours of going live.
