Longwood Gardens was recently recognized for the expansion of its Meadow Garden.

The popular garden in Kennett Square received the 2015 Land Ethics Award from Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, for their “use of native plants in the landscape, sustainable and regenerative design, and ethical land management and construction practices,” according to its Facebook page.

The Meadow Garden was recently expanded to 86 acres, and includes three miles of walking and hiking trails, the renovated Webb Farmhouse, native wildflower plants, and various wildlife.
