Kenney brings town halls to Philly neighborhoods
Mayor-elect Jim Kenney has picked four locations for town hall meetings where he and his administrative transition team will gather ideas from residents across the city.
Since his landslide election on Nov. 3, Kenney has been adamant about Philadelphians voicing their thoughts and concerning about the city’s future.
"To move all of Philadelphia forward, we need all Philadelphians to be at the table," he said in a statement Thursday. "These town halls will provide an opportunity for community members to speak directly with me and members of our transition team, so that our administration is prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities these Philadelphians face every day."
The events, open to the public, will be held in the following locations. (Click on the links to RSVP.)
