In Lima, leaders of these countries expressed their concerns about Donald Trump intentions to promote protectionism and anti-immigration policies. Obama took advantage of his visit to Lima to give one of his famous speeches to the youth, this time he addressed the Latin American youth. He tried to give them hope for the future and encouraged them to be open-minded and to encourage migration. “I now have white hair and start to see how the old people think. The old people they tend to feel more threatened than the youth about this melting pot of races and cultures", he said. The soundtrack of the speech was Marc Anthony’s hit:  “Puerto Rico me lo regaló, Miami me lo confirmó, del Caribe somos tu y yo”. As reported in El País today.
