More than 60.000 refugees between 16 and 17 year old arrived in Germany in 2016. Most of them are from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq and Somalia. They make a big effort every day to adapt to a new culture and a new country. “The first thing you must do is to learn German”, says Ali, an Afghan working as a technician in a small teather in Bremen.
