Wearable technology like Bluetooth headsets, fitness trackers and smart watches, have become a common accessory over the past few years. Now consumers can add another device to their garb, except this one can be hidden and used for mental health.

Spire is a device that “monitors and analyzes your breathing patterns in real time to show when you are focused, tense, or frazzled,” the company's website said. The device attaches to any part of your clothing that is close you your body, such as a belt or underwear. Throughout the day, it measures and analyzes your breathing patterns, at which it will notify you, via iPhone app, of your “state of mind” and provide tips to relax, like breathing exercises. It also tracks the amount of steps you take, like other fitness apps.

"It's very hard to stay mindful throughout our chaotic and always connected day," Jonathan Palley, Spire's CEO, said to The Huffington Post in an email. "The design of the Spire experience is not to interrupt you every time you're tense, but to bring mindfulness and awareness streaks of tension/focus/calm within this chaos."

The cost of keeping calm comes at a hefty price of $149.95.
