Organizers of the World Meeting of Families conference launched new Spanish versions of the event's Facebook and Twitter accounts.
With more than half of U.S. Latinos identifying as Catholic, organizers of the World Meeting of Families conference launched new Spanish versions of the event’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Held every three years, Philadelphia will be the next city to host the conference, the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families, in September 2015.
“The majority of Catholics are located in Latin America and we are thrilled to launch social media pages that cater to the international Spanish-speaking community,” said Lizanne Magarity Pando, director of marketing and communications for the World Meeting of Families.
According to the organization, Encuentro Mundial de las Familias - Filadelfia 2015, in Facebook, and @WMF2015ES will deliver essential information related to the conference and will distribute faith-filled news and messages that will engage both religious and non-religious families.
