The Newseum announced is displaying items from the protests and unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, as part of the Washington museum's exhibit on civil rights.
Beginning Friday, the show will display items like a press pass, a "Police the Police" poster and rubber pellets from a grenade used by police to disperse protesters, as an extension of the exhibit "Make Some Noise: Students and the Civil Rights Movement," Philly.com reported.
According to AP, the Newseum's “online managing editor traveled to Ferguson to collect items shortly before the Nov. 24 grand jury decision not to indict a police officer in the death of an unarmed black teenager.”
