Gina Rodriguez, the ‘greenest’ actress of the Oscars

Suzy Amis Cameron, wife of famous director James Cameron, is the soul of the initiative that each year tries to achieve a greener red carpet.
In this way, and making use of the notoriety offered by the grand night of the movies, each year Amis Cameron holds a competition in which all the participants –fashion students—must do is send a proposal to craft a sustainable design. The prize? To see your creation on the Los Angeles Dolby Theatre’s red carpet on the night of the Oscars, worn by two stars, one female and one male.
Last year was Olga Kurylenko’s and Kellan Lutz’s turn; this year Gina Rodriguez –who recently received a Golden Globe Award for her role in “Jane the Virgin”— and Jacke McDormand – who partnered with Bradley Cooper in “American Sniper” – will wear the ‘eco-friendly’ designs created by Manon Gabard and Tingting Chen, students at the Parisian school ESMOD-ISEM
