Democratic senators on Monday during a congressional hearing launched their campaign against Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Donald Trump"s nominee for the vacant Supreme Court seat, and who has promised, if he is confirmed by the Republican-controlled Congress, that he will be an independent justice "faithful" to the laws and the Constitution.

The number of illegal immigrants crossing into the United States from Mexico declined by 40 percent from January to February, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said on Wednesday.The Trump Government attributes the decline to its hard line immigration policy, as reported in El País.

The approval of a new Law on Crimes of Human Trafficking, which identifies prostitution with exploitation, plus the closing down of tolerance zones where prostitution is permitted, have forced sex workers into dangerous areas. One of the darker aspects of the trade is police persecution, since cops have been known to abuse their authority over women working illegally.

Los nuevos cambios en la ley de prohibición de viaje de Trump parecen no cambiar en lo absoluto su misión inicial.

El Presidente Donald J. Trump será recordado como uno de los presidentes estadounidenses que más se esforzaron en cumplir su palabra.

Tras la oposición que recibió la Ley de Prohibición de Viaje inicial que introdujo la nueva administración – suspendiendo el ingreso a los Estados Unidos a ciudadanos provenientes de siete países de mayoría musulmana – la promesa de aprobar una versión revisada no se hizo esperar.
