La Policía catalana confirma que se trata de un atentado terrorista. Se confirma la detención de uno de los sospechosos, Drikk Oukabir, de nacionalidad marroquí, que estaba fichado por la policía. Otro de los sospechosos ha muerto cuando intentaba huir. Donald Trump ha condenado el atentado y pide a los españoles ser duros y fuertes.

Scott Paul, president of Alliance for American Manufacturing, resigned from the President's Manufacturing Council, joining the CEO's of Intel, Merck and Under Armour, which resigned from the group created by Donald Trump, because of the noncommittal way he responded to the racist attack in Charlottesville, Virginia.
