Police launched a frenzied dragnet on young black males that produced no arrests for what news headlines tagged the Art Museum Rape-Murder.

The righteous attention given the recent 50th Anniversary of the despicable November 1967 Philadelphia police assault on school students peacefully protesting outside then School District headquarters on the Franklin Parkway renews interest in another grave injustice near that site also born from police brutality.

La policía lanzó una frenética redada contra hombres jóvenes de raza negra vinculados al caso “Violación-Asesinato en el Museo de Arte” - según los titulares de noticias del momento - pero no produjo ningún arresto.

La merecida atención prestada recientemente al 50 aniversario del despreciable asalto policial ocurrido en Filadelfia en 1967 contra decenas de estudiantes escolares que protestaban pacíficamente frente a la sede del Distrito Escolar en Franklin Parkway ha renovado el interés en otra grave injusticia cometida cerca de ese sitio, y que también tiene que ver con la brutalidad policial.
