Rising Hate: Jewish Community Centers Confront a Wave of Bomb Threats

The country is confronting a wave of bomb threats and vandalism against Jewish Americans institutions. At least 19 community centers and schools in 11 states were targeted on Monday, just one day after scores of headstones were damaged or pushed over at a Jewish cemetery in Philadelphia, and less than a week after a Jewish cemetery in suburban St Louis reported more than 150 headstones vandalized, reported The Atlantic.

El Alcalde Kenney y varios oficiales de la ciudad han decidido ayudar a los estudiantes transexuales de Filadelfia a que se sientan seguros y protegidos en sus escuelas.

Philly Protects Trans Kids

As the country reels over President Trump revoking guidelines submitted to public schools by President Obama to allow transgender students use the bathrooms of their choice, Philadelphia’s students remain calm and assured.

Mayor Kenney and several other city officials have made it a point to help Philadelphia’s trans students feel safe and secure in their schools.
