El propósito detrás de los Oscar

Aún frente al más acérrimo criticismo – que ha ido en aumento durante los últimos años – los Oscar siguen siendo el evento del año para el séptimo arte. No sólo recopilan lo mejor de las producciones cinematográficas del año, sino que abren un debate para los que somos fanáticos del cine y no perdemos la oportunidad de ver los estrenos, tanto del cine Hollywoodense como de la escena independiente.

The Oscars ceremony included gentle swings at President Trump. The most direct message came from Mexican actor Gabriel García Bernal: "As a Mexican, as a Latin American, as a migrant worker, as a human being, I am against any form of wall that wants to separate us."

La organización nacional de telecomunicaciones venezolano, Conatel, obligó el día de hoy a las empresas de televisión por cable a dejar de transmitir el canal de noticias CNN en Español a manera de represalia contra la investigación que llevó a cabo el canal sobre las maniobras ilegales que habría llevado a cabo el Vicepresidente Tareck El Aissami.
