Brazilian filmmaker Alice de Andrade's 1993 documentary "Luna de miel" (Honeymoon) looked at young married couples in Cuba. Her new documentary "Veinte Años" (Twenty Years), presented on Thursday at the Miami International Film Festival, examines some of these people's lives more than two decades later.

Aún frente al más acérrimo criticismo – que ha ido en aumento durante los últimos años – los Oscar siguen siendo el evento del año para el séptimo arte. No sólo recopilan lo mejor de las producciones cinematográficas del año, sino que abren un debate para los que somos fanáticos del cine y no perdemos la oportunidad de ver los estrenos, tanto del cine Hollywoodense como de la escena independiente.
