Representantes de organizaciones proinmigrantes locales y nacionales anunciaron hoy que marcharán hoy por la noche hasta una cárcel privada de detención de indocumentados al este de Denver para pedir que se cancele la deportación de una hispana residente en Colorado y madre de tres hijas estadounidenses.

According to the most recent Department of Justice report on federal arrest statistics, in 2014 non-U.S. citizens made up 41.8 percent of defendants charged in U.S. District Court and 37 percent of those were in the country without legal authorization. File

In March, two illegal immigrant teens were accused of attacking and raping a 14-year-old girl in a Maryland high school bathroom stall. The girl had reported the boys to the police, claiming that they’d held her down as she cried and tried to break free, and repeatedly told them to stop and as they took turns assaulting her.

En marzo, dos adolescentes, inmigrantes ilegales, fueron acusados de atacar y violar a una muchacha de 14 años en el baño de una escuela secundaria de Maryland. La chica denunció a los muchachos a la policía, diciendo que la tenían agarrada mientras ella gritaba, trataba de librarse y les decía repetidamente que pararan, pero ellos se turnaban para atacarla.
