US approves Russia sanctions, Moscow says they are a blow to normalizing ties

Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergey Ryabkov has responded to news that a package of further punitive measures for Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 US elections and its 2014 annexation of the Crimea was voted through the House of Representatives.

In their first official meeting, the President of the United States and the Indian Prime Minister talked about trade and defense cooperation, terrorism, but avoided immigration and climate change, issues in which both leaders differ. India is the country most affected by Trump's decision to tighten controls on granting the H-1B visa, which benefits foreign workers.

An anti-Muslim attack in a London mosque on Saturday was followed by a frustrated terrorist attack on Monday in Paris, where an armed man identified as an Islamic extremist was killed after he rammed a card loaded with weapons and explosives in to a police convoy. Increasing Islamist terror and hate crime against Muslims at the same time...  is this exactly what ISIS want?
