Rizos On The Road: two bloggers use coily hair to talk about Afro-Latino identity

Since April, Ada Rojas and Rocio Mora have traveled to six cities around the country - Miami, New Orleans, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York - driving their Kia provided by the automaker sponsoring their tour dubbed "Rizos On The Road."

Bajo el liderazgo de la presidenta Michelle Bachelet, el Congreso aprobó un proyecto "histórico" para legalizar el aborto en caso de malformación fetal, peligro para la vida de la madre o embarazo por violación. Hasta hoy, Chile era uno de los pocos países del mundo donde el aborto está prohibido bajo cualquier circunstancia.

Chilean Congress approves law to decriminalize abortion

Led by President Michelle Bachelet's administration, the "historic" initiative legalizes abortion in case of fetal infeasibility, danger to women's life or health, and pregnancy from rape. Until yesterday, Chile was one of the few countries in the world that barred abortion under all circumstances.

[OP-ED]: The real problem for the Democrats

The Democratic Party has reacted to its series of recent election losses by once again concluding that it needs a better economic message. As Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said last Sunday, “Democrats need a strong, bold, sharp-edged and common-sense economic agenda.” EFE

The only disagreement within the party is about how sharp-edged and left-wing that message should be. But it is increasingly clear that the problem for Democrats has little to do with economics and much more to do with a cluster of issues they would rather not revisit -- about culture, social mores and national identity.

That’s nonsense. Ratings are high and profits are up. All this since the man who made a fortune by building up Donald Trump as a television star -- Jeff Zucker, the head of CNN who used to run NBC -- seems to have decided that there is more money to be made from tearing down Trump now that he is president.
