With a new schedule of demonstrations, the opposition coalition against Nicolas Maduro’s regime will not rest until the government releases political prisoners, ceases political disqualifications and immediately convene regional elections.

Emmanuel Macron (Center) and Marine Le Pen (far right) advanced to the runoff in France’s presidential elections on May 7. After the UK’s vote to leave the European Union and the US vote for the political novice Donald Trump as president, the French presidential race is the latest election to shake up establishment politics by kicking out the figures that stood for the status quo.

Gorsuch on Monday was sworn in as the country"s latest Supreme Court justice after being nominated by President Donald Trump and confirmed by the Senate, thus filling the high court seat that had been vacant for more than a year.
