[OP-ED]: Marcelo: el mejor lateral izquierdo del mundo

Marcelo siempre ha funcionado mejor con entrenadores menos rigurosos, que le permitan subir la banda libremente. Además, el lateral se beneficia enormemente cuando cuenta con medios defensivos, como ahora el también brasileño Casemiro, capaz de cubrirle las espaldas en sus continuas subidas.

Los días de gloria del Real Madrid siempre han estado ligado a grandes delanteros, Emilio Butragueño, Hugo Sánchez, Raúl González, Cristiano Ronaldo, pero también, y aunque pasen más desapercibidos, a geniales laterales zurdos, como José Antonio Camacho, Rafael Gordillo, Roberto Carlos y, en la actualidad, Marcelo.

It is true no other country has won the World Cup more times than Brazil (5), but it is also true the South American powerhouse has not conquered the world of soccer since 2002.

In 1992, the Democratic Party faced a challenge on the issue of abortion. Pennsylvania’s governor, Robert Casey, a Democrat dedicated to the working class, asked to speak at the national convention in New York City. He wanted to propose a pro-life plank for the party platform, mostly as a way of affirming his Catholic beliefs.
