Orient Express: Trump travels to Israel to discuss peace process

US President will tour Tel Aviv and Jerusalem today, after a weekend in Ryadh, prioritizing trade deals over human rights concerns. During his visit to Israel, Trump is expected to meet prime minister with Benjamin Netanyahu and later with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to discuss an eternal goal: an "ultimate peace deal."

Some 180 Cuban doctors, up to now part of their island's medical mission in Venezuela, have deserted that country and are now waiting in Bogota in hopes the United States will provide them with visas.

There is much to applaud in President Trump’s decision to attack the Bashar Assad regime this week. It punished a regime that has engaged in war crimes against its own people. It upheld an international norm against chemical weapons.
