Any season is a good season for a beer festival in Philly and in the first week of 2015  “Big Philly Beerfest!” will start out the unlimited sampling with more than 300 beers over two nights.

On Jan. 9 and 10 the Pennsylvania Convention Center will host two nights of sampling, with more than 90 breweries and 275 craft beers available. Attendees will get a taste of a variety of local breweries — Dock Street, Victory, Yards, Sly Fox— as well as all-time national favorites Firestone, Lagunitas and Allagash.

Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door for general admission, and $55 in advance and $65 at the door for early admission.

Those with early admission tickets will be granted access to the festival at 6:30 p.m. while general admission ticket-holders will be granted admission at 7:30 p.m.
