Gabriela writes about foreign policy, U.S. national security issues, Latin America, Philadelphia, politics, women and millennials in politics, and challenging society’s assumptions. She is pursuing graduate studies in security policy –– focusing her studies on insurgencies, counterinsurgency, organized crime, and Latin American security. Her master's thesis is focused on preventing the radicalization of second-generation immigrant youths in the U.S. Guaracao is also the co-founder of Philly Set Go, Philadelphia’s first millennial PAC, and gives back to her community through the Young Friends Board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Board of Einstein Healthcare Network, and the Board of Public Citizens for Children and Youth (PCCY).
