Just in case, don’t hold your breath waiting for his crying, arrogant self to do the decent thing and apologize to Christine Blasey Ford, not to mention withdraw his nomination to the highest court of the land. That will never happen, because Kavanaugh –together with Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham and their ilk —belongs to the white, male, rich club of those who believe they deserve it all and can get away with anything. His off-putting histrionics –lavishly praised by Trump — during the Senate hearings made that crystal clear.

Yet, even though an FBI investigation – which Ford wanted, and Kavanaugh and the Republican Party opposed – has been presented as the key to the real Kavanaugh, the one hiding behind his shattered boy scout image, there is a huge problem. And no, I am not talking about the one-week time constraint or the “limitations” said to be imposed on the FBI efforts by the White House, huge obstacles in themselves. As GOP Sen. Jeff Flake, who forced the FBI investigation over his own party’s objections, said, “It does no good to have an investigation that just gives us more cover.”

I am referring to the glaring contradiction that it would be for Trump to accept as valid the findings of the FBI, in case they prove what most people already know: Kavanaugh is unfit to become a Supreme Court justice. After all, the president has waged a relentless campaign against the credibility of the Department of Justice and the FBI, whose reputation he has described as being “in tatters.”

“It’s a shame what’s happened with the FBI, but we’re going to rebuild the FBI. It’ll be bigger and better than ever,” Trump recently told reporters.

During a White House Rose Garden press conference on Monday, the former reality TV actor expressed his solidarity with Kavanaugh who, according to him, has suffered a “trauma.” CNN has also reported that, privately, “(Trump has) expressed concern at how a failed nomination will affect him politically and accused some aides of failing to confront the crisis adequately.”

Knowing his modus operandi, it’s not far-fetched to think that Trump could easily “find fault” with the FBI’s investigation and dismiss it as one more case of the agency’s supposed bias against him.

If it happens, expect all hell to break loose with women, unwilling to take the abuse and disrespect any longer, leading the way.

At the same White House press conference, showing once again that when it comes to women he is a disgusting bully with no regard for their feelings or even their humanity, Trump insulted a Latino woman reporter, ABC News’ senior White House correspondent Cecilia Vega.

“You are not thinking. You never do,” he told her in typical bully fashion.

Insulting women is nothing new for the nation’s president, a self-confessed sexual predator who, not surprisingly, has gone out of his way to defend his Supreme Court nominee, sexual abuse suspect Brett Kavanaugh.

“This is absolutely absurd and the most recent example of not only the president’s disdain for journalists, but his prejudice towards women,” said in a Facebook post Hugo Balta, the president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, referring to Trump’s insult to Vega.

Oh, well, boys will be boys, right? The hell with the boys, their orange hair and their weird little brown teeth. Let’s vote the bums out on November 6.
