The "Impeachment March" is coming to Philly.
How close is Donald Trump to impeachment? It seems unclear but some Philly activists think they can push the envelope and get President Donald Trump out of the office.
The Impeachment March, scheduled for July 2nd, is set to take place from the National Constitution Center to JFK PLaza.
The organizers of the protest site James Comey’s testimony as the sign that Trump committed obstruction of justice and that worked to end the FBI investigation os Michael Flynn the former national security adviser.
“Donald Trump’s extreme disregard for the Constitution is a profound subversion of the Office of the President,” the event description reads. “Neither do we feel our country is in safe nor able hands, and we will not quietly ride out a tenure that threatens our democracy and way of life. We demand that Congress stop enabling President Trump through an embarrassing and potentially catastrophic charade of normalcy. The future of American Democracy rests in their hands.”
The event kicks off at 10 a.m.
