Bill seeks to speed up deportation of minors

Senator John Cornyn (R) and congressman Henry Cuellar (D,) both from Texas, will present a bill on Tuesday July 15th to speed up immigration processes for unaccompanied minors fleeing to the United States from Central America.
On one hand, the initiative known as HUMANE Act, seeks to facilitate the deportation of children from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

On one hand, the initiative known as HUMANE Act, seeks to facilitate the deportation of children from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
Currently only those from Mexico and Canada can be deported almost immediately after they enter the country illegally. 
On the other hand, for minors who may be eligible for some sort of protection, the initiative seeks to take them to a court within seven days following their inspection by HHS.
Depending on the decision of the court, children may be deported or allowed to stay in the country under custody of an individual, while waiting for their case to be heard.
