The unresolved case of 43 missing students in Mexico has engendered sentiments of despair and outrage, and prompted thousands of Mexicans to demand the authorities for answers.
As ThinkMexican reported, “a new blog is making sure we know the names and faces of the 43 Ayotzinapa (Guerrero, Mexico)." #IlustradoresconAyotzinapa is inviting artists to share their artistic renditions of photographs of the students who vanished on Sept. 26.
All of the students were enrolled at “Normal Superior Rural Ayotzinapa,” the town’s teachers’ college. They were reported missing after a violent confrontation with the local police.
ThinkMexican is urging people to share the illustrations (or link to the blog), “to keep their family’s fight for justice alive.”
