Candlelight Vigil in memory of the Orlando Victims

Cities around the world held vigils in honor of the shooting victims, of Sunday’s tragic shooting massacre at a popular gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla. At the mass shooting, at least 50 people were killed and 53 were injured. Omar Mateen, 29, the person identified as the shooter, is a U.S. citizen of Afghan descent. Mateen was killed in a firefight with police after taking hostages at the club.
