Children's Scholarship Fund in Philadelphia is offering financial assistance for families in need. 

The privately funded program is giving  2,000 four-year scholarships for low-income families. Only the first 10,000 applications will be accepted and entered into the lottery program. 

Applications must be completed and received no later than Mar. 1, 2014. 

Scholarship award selections will be made mid-march. CSFP will call to inform selected families that their child or children will receive a partial scholarship to attend a tuition-based (k-8) school of their choosing.

Applications are available online, and various locations including, YMCA, Free Library of Philadelphia, The Police Athletic League, and many other community organizations.
