It's that time of year again! Center City District Restaurant Week is back in Philadelphia from January 19 to 24 and 26 to 31! The city's best restaurants are offering three-course dinners for $35 per person and three-course lunches for $20 (alcohol, tax and gratuity aren't included). Among the amazing selection of participating restaurants are diverse Latino food choices. The options range from Brazilian to Cuban to Mexican. Here is a list of participating restaurants serving Latino or Latino-inspired dishes:


Alma de Cuba

The Cuban restaurant by Stephen Starr in Rittenhouse Square offers a three-course dinner menu including ceviche, roast pork and alfajores.

 

Amada

This tapas-style restaurant by Jose Garces in Old City offers both a three-course lunch and a three-course dinner menu featuring dishes such as croquettes, flatbreads, beef short ribs, and Crema Cantalana, a traditional Spanish custard.

 

Chima Brazilian Steakhouse

Just blocks from Suburban Station, this traditional Brazilian churrascaria-style dining offers a dinner of 10 rotisserie meats including sirloin, chicken, sausage, ribs, and fish, as well as fried polenta, fried bananas mashed potatoes and a gourmet salad bar.

 

Cuba Libre

This Old City restaurant and rum bar offers a three-course dinner featuring dishes like Arepa de Maiz (corn cakes), Paella de Vegetales Asados (vegetable paella) and Arroz con Leche (rice pudding).

 

El Vez

Located in Philadelphia's "Gayborhood," Stephen Starr's Mexican-inspired restaurant offers a four course dinner menu including hibiscus enchiladas, corn soup with quesadilla and flan.

 

Jamonera

A Spanish wine bar in Market East, Jamonera offers a three-course dinner including croquettes, beef and fish dishes and for dessert, warm bread pudding.

 

Rosa Blanca

This new Cuban restaurant from Iron Chef Jose Garces, located in Market East, features a three-course lunch menu and a four-course dinner menu with dishes like coconut conch chowder, a cuban sandwich, coconut tembleque and Ropa Vieja, braised short rib in a tomato stew.

 

Tequilas Restaurant

Located in Rittenhouse Square, this authentic Mexican restaurant's three-course lunch and three-course dinner menu features empanadas, enchiladas, beef, pork and fish dishes and a tres leche cake.

 

Tinto

Another Jose Garces-owned tapas restaurant in Rittenhouse Square offers a three-course dinner featuring various cheeses, Spanish octopus, duck, pork belly and Cuajada custard.

 

Xochitl

This Mexican restaurant and bar in Society Hill offers a four-course dinner menu that includes empanadas, swordfish veracruz and a mexican chocolate and ancho chile tart.
