Philadelphia City Council Leadership held the 2nd Annual Celebration of African-American History Month on Feb. 27. The celebration, which took place in the City Council Chamber, included musical performances by Enon Tabernacle Baptist Choir and Valerie Gay of Art Sanctuary, a dance performance by Carolyn Hall, a special reading of Dr. Martin Luther King's historic "Letter from Birmingham Jail" by members of Philadelphia City Council and art from Vivant Art Gallery.
