Emojis will no longer be only white. Finally, these picture characters that we use to illustrate our messages through the cell phone reflect the racial diversity of those using them.
As ensured by Apple MacRumors –a product-specializing website—your next operating system update, X Yosemite, will include the possibility of choosing different skin tones. Apple will offer a pallet of five different colors in its current Emojis menu that will enable their customization.
The measure is a response to the efforts of the Unicode Consortium -- the organization in charge of managing how the Emojis work—to include greater diversity of races.
