Concilio's banquet hall in Fairmount was alive with energy on Friday, Sept. 5, as Philadelphia seniors danced to music by Trio Renacer and learned ZUMBA from Ingrid Perez Martin.

The Senior Citizens Luncheon is an annual event to recognize and celebrate elders in the community — as well as provide resources. The attendants learned about energy initiatives from PECO and health plans, in addition to enjoying a good meal and music with friends. The luncheon was just one of the events for Philadelphia's 2014 Puerto Rican Festival leading up to Hispanic Heritage Month.
