Great Recycling Day in Philadelphia
The City Hall Department will arrange several collection points this Saturday for Philadelphia residents to throw their gardening trash.
This Saturday will be a day of waste collection and gardening materials under the Program of Recycling of Patios of Waste that the Department of Streets of Philadelphia has been implementing to reduce the amount of this type of garbage in the neighborhoods of the city.
The Department will make available the traditional Sanitation Convenience Centers and other 23 collection points of biodegradable material such as tree branches, leaves, brooms, among others. The day will last six hours, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Materials should be untied, not to exceed 4 feet in length and 8 inches in diameter and presented in biodegradable paper bags.
