Tuesday is the last day to file nomination petitions in order for a candidate to be placed on the primary ballot. The minimum number of signatures required is 1,000.

The first one to make his number of signatures public was Anthony Williams, who last Friday announced he had secured 10,000. He had reported the highest number until Kenney 2015 announced the campaign filed 10,070 petition signatures this afternoon.

According to the County Board of Elections Nelson Díaz and Lynne Abraham also filed their nomination petitions today.

Diaz reported 3,200. "We submitted the first batch today and are submitting a second large batch tomorrow," said Diaz campaign spokesman Barry Caro.

Abraham submitted 2,800 and we are waiting a response from her campaign team to confirm the number.

The remaining mayoral candidates have until 5 p.m. tomorrow to file their petitions. Stay tuned for further results.
