The New York Times opens a debate about which Tweets should be considered news, and what should be considered just a propaganda weapon or provocative statements.

Trump has used Twitter to trumpet false claims about millions of illegal votes or challenged current free speech laws by banning flag burning. Should news outlets ignore clearly untrue tweets, rather than amplify falsehoods further? As reported on Tuesday in The New York Times.
