Rita’s Italian Ice is bringing a Philly treat to the Middle East.

The water ice and frozen custard company based in Trevose, PA is contracting with Eathos Ltd., a corporation in Dubai, to open 46 stores in Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and United Arab Emirates within the next 10 years.

The first store is expected to open this summer in Dubai, according to Philadelphia Business Journal.

In the past 10 years, Rita’s has increased locations to 600 stores in 27 states, including expanding to sports stadiums. Besides the Middle East, Rita’s has opened or is planning to open stores in China, India, Canada, the Philippines and the Caribbean.
