Sometimes the food world gives you things you didn’t know you wanted, but are so glad it was created. Other times it gives you things you wish never saw the light of day.

For instance, the Krispy Kreme Donut Dog.

Minor League Baseball team The Wilmington Blue Rocks have recently partnered with Krispy Kreme Donuts to create the monstrosity. The bacon and raspberry jelly topped hot dog on a Krispy Kreme glazed donut concoction will only be sold at the Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, Delaware.

The team is currently running a contest to name the item. Those who submit a name before March 17 will be entered to win the first pitch on opening night (April 16), four tickets to opening night and $50 to be used in the stadium.  

Unfortunately, this item isn’t the only unusual combination out today. PYT, a popular restaurant in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, released a Donut Cheesesteak Burger last summer and Prairie Farms Dairy is releasing Peeps-flavored milks.
