Princeton University again led U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of top U.S. academic research institutions, while the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) drop to #8 in the online magazine 30th edition report.

According to Bloomberg.com, Princeton is followed by Harvard and Yale University in their 2015 list that includes data for almost 1,800 schools.

But the 2015 results published by College Factual agree to disagree. For best colleges nationwide they named Philly’s Ivy League university to lead the pack.

Described as data geeks that deliver easy-to-digest factual content about colleges, their ranking is based on undergraduate programs and include 1,394 four year universities nationwide.

“We challenge the status quo in higher education to help people make better decisions about college. If we can help you make a better decision, we can help you find your purpose sooner in life,” states the organization in their website.

USAToday.com published College Factual results where UPenn ranks first with a six to one student to faculty ratio and a “high earnings boost” — meaning grads of particular majors overall earn more than those of the same major nationwide.

Penn also snatched Harvard’s first-place ranking for 2014, having a 1450 average SAT score and 96 percent graduation rate.

After some serious fact checking you may have the last word.
