Yesterday, the City released its planned layout of Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park in South Philadelphia during the Democratic National Convention next month.

The park will be where the protesters will be allowed to hold actions through the convention. There will be six “demonstration zones” from Sunday, July 24 through Thursday, July 28. Demonstrators will have access to water, in addition to two mistings and first aid tents.

The roads outlined in the map below will be closed the evening of Saturday, July 23, through July 29. Pattison Avenue will be closed to the public between 20th and 7th streets. Broad Street will also be closed to traffic from Packer Avenue to Terminal with the exception of authorized vehicles.

Sidewalks will remain open to the public to allow access to FDR Park. The SEPTA Broad Street Line station at Pattison Avenue will remain open.
