The embattled Mexican National soccer team defeated a tough Jamaican team last night, before a crowd of nearly 70,000 people at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, to claim the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The crowd was the largest to gather for a soccer event in the field's history, a testament to the economic and cultural boon the strong and growing Mexican community represents for Philadelphia.
