Five songs to say goodbye to Dolores O'Riordan
According to her manager, The Cranberries singer, Dolores O'Riordan, died suddenly at the age of 46 on Monday.
Saying goodbye to idols is never easy, especially when it comes to iconic bandleaders. It wasn’t easy with David Bowie, nor with Lou Reed. Today, sadness again distresses the hearts of many teenagers of the 90s who learned to play guitar with the four Zombie chords behind the particular voice of Dolores O'Riordan.
As reported by the representative of The Cranberries in a statement, the vocalist of the Irish band died suddenly in London while participating in a brief recording session, according to the newspaper El País.
“Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time,” the statement continues.
This group began its trajectory at the end of the 80s, conquering the United Kingdom in few months, later to make a worldwide debut with the historical No Need to Argue album of 1994.
