If you live in the northern hemisphere, this video does not say anything positive about you. Created by NASA super computers, the video simulates carbon dioxide's presence in the atmosphere during 2006. In one minute, it shows how humans pollute the earth in one year.

A kaleidoscope of images show how carbon dioxide, one of the causes of greenhouse gases, is twisted and transported throughout the Earth, specifically covering North America, Europe and Asia. The planet, which can only absorb half the pollution through photosynthesis of plants, suffers particularly during winter and spring. That's when Earth seems to be burning in the video, while in summer and autumn, the images look much more soothing in blue and green. During that time, carbon monoxide accumulates in the southern hemisphere, although less intensely.

This video shows the shamelessness of the northern countries, largely responsible for the emission of toxic gases into the atmosphere. The most populated and industrialized areas, like the United States, are responsible for the brunt of the pollution. Here, only the eastern half, with a higher number of inhabitants, looks hot.
